Aisle 6: Security Systems

Understanding Fear

In this video, Peter explores a new way of relating to fear—one that doesn’t involve fighting, suppressing, or trying to overpower it. Fear isn’t an enemy to defeat; it’s a signal to understand. When you stop sparring with fear and start listening to it, everything changes.

Peter explains that fear feeds on participation: the more you argue with it, resist it, or get tangled in its stories, the stronger it feels. Instead, he invites you to approach fear the way you would a frightened child—by parenting it with steadiness and curiosity. Ask what it’s trying to say. Notice what it’s trying to protect. Give it a role, but not the steering wheel.

Fear may guard you, but it doesn’t get to govern you.
When you learn to understand its message rather than obey its demands, fear becomes a guide instead of a barrier.

Build a healthier relationship with fear—one rooted in clarity, compassion, and confident direction.
